Photoshoot 6 - Contact Sheet
This is my sixth and final photoshoot where I captured the movement of a fern leaf and the process of it dying. I took a photo around every 20 minutes for around 3 days. This technique captured the process off the fern leaf dying and curling up as it dies. I used the flash as well as lighting so that the white balance was correct and to create highlights and shadows in the photos. I used a tripod to steady the camera and an intervalometer so that I could capture the process over the day and the night for 3 days without changing the white balance or lighting. I kept all of the leaf in focus so that the camera captured all of the movement in the photos. I like the detail of the process that has been captured as the process has happened slowly so wouldn't normally be noticed or seen.
